For the second year, Fachjan Project Plants operates 100% CO2 neutral. This is achieved through solar panels, geothermal energy, and including compensation for plant transportation to the first delivery point. The compensation takes place by investing in bamboo planting in Uganda (Bamboo Village Uganda Project).
Planting bamboo directly contributes to the fight against climate change. Bamboo is an excellent storage facility for CO2, the main greenhouse gas responsible for global warming.
Fachjan compensates no less than 1.9 million kilograms of CO2. This enables the planting of more than 7,000 square meters of bamboo.
