Plants for Burgers’ Mangrove (July 2017) – update 26-02-2019

Fachjan recently supplied various special plants for the planting in Burgers’ Mangrove (Burgers’ Zoo). Among the various plants are the real mangrove shrubs such as Coccoloba uvifera and Coconut palms (Cocos nucifera).

Buirgers’ Mangrove: On an area of no less than 3000 m2, since July 13, 2017, visitors have been able to explore the largest covered mangrove area in the world like true explorers. This is the natural habitat of charismatic animal species such as manatees, fiddler crabs, butterflies, birds and fish. The surprising landscape of Burgers’ Mangrove extends under a dome-shaped construction, the highest point of which is 16m. high.
