Last Friday evening, November 4, the Hillenraad 100 event took place in The Hague. This event is held every other year to showcase the top 100 companies in the sector.
We have been on this list several times before, around position 80-90. In the last list of 2019, there was a huge outlier to 35th place, mainly because we score high on sustainability and are seen as the market leader in the project market with a healthy future outlook.
The top 100 includes very large companies such as growers’ associations, breeding companies and large trading organizations. Fachjan is a relatively small player in this, making it an honor to be placed on this list at all. 2021 was the year that was looked at and which was also an excellent year for Fachjan. Ultimately, we finished in 44th place this year, which positively surprised us. For us as a company, it is certainly a confirmation that the course we are sailing is the right one. Hopefully we can continue this in the coming years in the exciting times ahead.
